The Southeastern Louisiana University football team kicked off their fall camp at Strawberry Stadium in preparation for the upcoming 2024 season. Under the guidance of head coach Frank Scelfo, the Lions began their first day of split-squad practices to evaluate the players and provide individual instruction. Coach Scelfo was pleased with the energy and effort displayed by the team on the first day of camp.
The Lions will continue practicing throughout the month leading up to the start of the school year on August 21. Once the season begins, practices will be held in the afternoons on weekdays. Southeastern will open their season with a game against Tulane on August 29, broadcasted on ESPN+ and the Southeastern Sports Radio Network.
Fans interested in attending games can purchase tickets through the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office, with mobile ticketing being the primary method for securing tickets. Additionally, supporters of the football program can join the Touchdown Club or the S Club to become active members of the team’s community. Membership fees and donations support the football program exclusively.
