Airlines halt flights due to conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

Airlines including British Airways and Air France have suspended flights to Israel as clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah escalate. British Airways has canceled flights until Wednesday, while Air France will not resume services until Monday. Other airlines such as Etihad, Ethiopian Airlines, Wizz, and Virgin Atlantic have also suspended flights to Tel Aviv. Jordan’s Royal Jordanian has suspended flights to Beirut. Lufthansa has extended its flight suspension to both Beirut and Tel Aviv until the end of September. Delta Air Lines and American Airlines have extended their flight suspensions to Israel until October 31. Ben Gurion Airport closed briefly on Sunday as Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, denied Israeli claims of detecting the attack in advance and stated that the attack was in response to the killing of a commander last month. The situation remains tense as airlines monitor the ongoing conflict and make decisions about flight operations.
