The Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame has announced its newest class of inductees for 2025. The group of nine individuals, including coaches, athletes, and contributors, have been recognized for their excellence and dedication to high school sports in Louisiana. Nominations were made by member school principals and coaches, with a selection committee meeting in August to decide on this year’s honorees.
The 2025 inductees include Michael Boyer, Melissa “Ashley” Aldredge Brooks, Ronnie Coker, Tony Lee Cutright, Barbara Farris, O.M. “Butch” Helveston, Br. Martin Hernandez, S.C., Jennifer Streiffer Mascaro, and Ruby Smith Qualls. These individuals will be celebrated at the Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony on April 15, 2025, at The Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge.
The inductees have made significant contributions to Louisiana high school sports and their induction into the Hall of Fame serves as recognition of their exceptional achievements and lasting impact on the athletic community.
