Medical professionals murdered in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York following an airstrike in southern Lebanon, where smoke billows up from the site. Despite international calls for a cease-fire, Netanyahu vowed to continue hitting Hezbollah “with all our might” until all goals are achieved. However, the prime minister’s office clarified that there has been misreporting around the U.S.-led cease-fire initiative and that Israel appreciates American efforts in this regard. A total of 92 people were killed and 154 injured in Israeli raids across southern, central, and eastern Lebanon within 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to over 700 since the start of the new aerial offensive on Monday. Discussions between Israeli and American teams regarding the cease-fire proposal are ongoing, with more meetings planned for the future. The situation remains tense as Israel and Lebanon continue to exchange fire, with casualties mounting on both sides.
