Terryon Thomas, a popular TikTok creator with 4 million followers, has been charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of therapist William Nicholas Abraham. The 20-year-old from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested in Dallas after Abraham was found dead on the side of a highway, with law enforcement officials citing blunt-force trauma as the cause of death. Thomas has gained notoriety on TikTok for his comedic videos and for copying content from other creators, sparking criticism and a meme known as “Mr Prada victims.” Despite concerns over Thomas’ well-being and behavior changes on social media, his followers have been shocked by the allegations against him. Witnesses reported seeing Thomas dragging a tarp and loading it into Abraham’s car, leading to his arrest in Dallas for allegedly driving the vehicle unauthorized. Online speculation and misinformation have circulated surrounding Thomas’ relationship with Abraham and possible motives for the crime, with posts on social media falsely linking Thomas to a previous legal case involving the therapist. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has stated that there is no evidence of Thomas being a client of Abraham, and investigations into the motive and relationship between the two are ongoing. Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas and awaits extradition to Louisiana for his court date.
