A Frontier flight from San Diego to Las Vegas made a hard landing after pilots detected smoke in the cockpit, leading to flames underneath the aircraft. The plane, an Airbus 321, safely landed at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, where all passengers and crew were evacuated without injuries. The Clark County Fire Department responded to the incident and extinguished the fire. The video posted on social media shows the plane rolling on the tarmac with flames and smoke coming from underneath the aircraft. A ground stop was in effect at the airport until 7 p.m. as the incident was under investigation by the FAA. The cause of the smoke and flames is still unknown at this time. NBC News reporters Rebecca Cohen, Jay Blackman, and Joe Kottke contributed to the coverage of this incident.
