The lawsuit alleged fraudulent schemes and dangerous penile injections performed on the plaintiff, leading to irreversible damage. The man’s lawyers hailed the verdict as a record-setting amount for a medical malpractice case in the U.S. The clinic, NuMale Medical Center, and its officials were named as defendants in the lawsuit.
The complaint stated that the man visited the clinic for fatigue and weight loss treatment, but he was misdiagnosed and subjected to unnecessary invasive erectile dysfunction shots. The plaintiff’s legal team accused the clinic of setting up a fraudulent scheme to defraud elderly patients by coercing them into unnecessary treatments multiple times a week.
NuMale Medical Center President Brad Palubicki emphasized the company’s commitment to responsible patient care and compliance with safety standards, but refrained from commenting on the specifics of the case due to ongoing legal proceedings. The jury found that the defendants’ actions were fraudulent, negligent, and violated the Unfair Practices Act, resulting in damages to the plaintiff.
