High School Football America is keeping fans updated on all the action throughout the 2024 Louisiana high school football playoffs. In the second round of the playoffs, there were some exciting matchups and results.
In Division I Non-Select, Airline defeated Westgate 42-16 while Central (Baton Rouge) took a 45-20 victory over West Ouachita. Chalmette came out on top with a 35-31 win against Hahnville, and Destrehan dominated Northwood-SHV with a 63-21 victory.
In Division I Select, Alexandria defeated Evangel Christian 49-6, Archbishop Rummel beat McDonogh #35 50-25, and Catholic-BR shut out East Jefferson with a 42-0 win. Edna Karr also had a big win, defeating Huntington 56-6.
The Division II Non-Select saw Cecilia beat Lutcher 49-41, Franklin Parish defeat Brusly 35-14, and Franklin take a 42-21 victory over West Feliciana. In the Division II Select, Archbishop Shaw beat Loranger 49-14 and E.D. White defeated Livingston Collegiate 51-14.
In the Division III Non-Select, Jena defeated Port Allen 56-30, Kinder beat Westlake 28-12, and Oak Grove dominated Mansfield with a 62-14 victory. In Division III Select, Bunkie defeated Amite 39-14, Calvary shut out De La Salle 38-0, and Catholic – NI had a big win over Northlake Christian with a 59-22 victory.
