The high school football playoffs in Louisiana have been heating up with some exciting matchups in the second round. In the Non-Select division, Airline defeated Westgate 42-16, while Destrehan dominated Shreveport Northwood with a score of 63-21. In Division I, Neville came out on top against Covington with a score of 44-13, while Ruston beat Zachary 42-21 and West Monroe defeated Mandeville 20-9.
In Division II, Franklin Parish took down Brusly 35-14, while Franklinton defeated West Feliciana 42-21. In Division III, Oak Grove had a big win over Mansfield with a score of 62-14, and Union Parish beat Red River 42-8. In Division IV, Haynesville had a dominant 61-0 win over Montgomery, while Mangham defeated West St. John 44-6.
In the Select division, Alexandria beat Evangel Christian Academy 49-6 in Division I, while Baton Rouge Catholic shut out East Jefferson 42-0. In Division II, E.D. White had a decisive 51-14 win over Livingston Collegiate Academy, and Leesville beat Loyola Prep 42-24. In Division III, Calvary Baptist Academy defeated De La Salle 38-0, and Lafayette Christian Academy edged out NDHS 35-28. In Division IV, Ascension Catholic beat Opelousas Catholic 58-13, while St. Edmund Catholic had a high-scoring 78-37 win over St. Martin’s.
