Louisiana voters hit the polls on Saturday to decide on four proposed constitutional amendments and several intense local races. In East Baton Rouge Parish, the runoff for Mayor-President was between Sharon Weston Broome and Sid Edwards. Meanwhile, in Gonzales, voters participated in runoffs for both mayor and police chief, with Kemlyn Bailey Lomas and Tim Riley in the running. In Plaquemine, there was also a mayoral runoff.
