Louisiana State Police have arrested Dayon Dyson, 50, for allegedly selling drugs to Washington Parish school board member and political candidate Frankie Crosby Sr., who later died of a drug overdose. Crosby, 67, was found dead in his vehicle after taking a lethal combination of cocaine and fentanyl. Dyson, from Franklinton, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder and distribution of fentanyl. If convicted, he could face life in prison. State police, along with local law enforcement agencies, collaborated to identify Dyson and make the arrest. A State Police spokesperson stated that they are actively working to address fentanyl-related cases to ensure the safety of citizens.
