The 12th-ranked Louisiana Tech bowling team is gearing up to compete in the Columbia 300 Saints Invite in St. Louis hosted by Maryville at Bowlero Lakeside. Participating teams include Central Missouri, Lewis, Maryville, McKendree, and others. The tournament format includes Baker games on Friday, traditional team games on Saturday, and bracket play on Sunday.
Louisiana Tech recently finished ninth at the Prairie View A&M Invitational with standout performances from Abbie Leiendecker, Kylee Trexler, and Rachel Ong. Trexler leads the team with a 20.26 average per frame and is known for her strong leadoff bowling. Ong follows closely behind with a 20.05 average per frame and excels at filling frames and converting single pins. Leiendecker adds depth to the team with a 19.74 per frame average and was a tournament MVP at SWIBC I.
