Louisiana Native Joins LSU Football Coaching Staff

LSU football has expanded its coaching staff with the addition of Antonio Parks as a wide receivers analyst. A Louisiana native, Parks played safety under Frank Wilson at UTSA before joining Oregon as an offensive analyst. Parks will join the offensive staff at LSU, filling the role left by Paul Turner who departed for Charlotte in January.

This hiring is part of a series of staffing changes at LSU, including the addition of Tim Rattay as an analyst on the offensive side. Rattay, a former NFL quarterback and Oklahoma State quarterbacks coach, has a previous connection with Tigers’ offensive coordinator Joe Sloan.

LSU head coach Brian Kelly expressed his excitement about bringing Parks on board, highlighting his experience and Louisiana roots. Parks’ addition adds depth to the Tigers’ coaching staff as they continue to build their program under Kelly’s leadership.

Overall, the addition of Parks and Rattay showcases LSU’s commitment to strengthening their coaching staff and providing their players with top-level support and guidance. As the Tigers gear up for the upcoming season, these new hires are sure to make a positive impact on the team’s performance and development.
