Danette Colbert, a woman from Slidell, Louisiana, has been arrested in connection with the death of Adan Manzano, an NFL reporter from Kansas who was in New Orleans for the Super Bowl. The Kenner Police Department revealed that Colbert has a history of drugging men and stealing their credit cards. Surveillance footage showed Colbert entering Manzano’s hotel room on the morning of his death, and his credit card was later found to have been used in several New Orleans stores, allegedly by Colbert. However, it is unclear if she was directly responsible for Manzano’s death as the cause has not been revealed yet. Colbert has been charged with property crimes including fraud and theft-related offenses. Investigators are currently waiting for toxicology results to determine if Manzano was drugged.
