The charges against Colbert could be upgraded pending the toxicology and autopsy report of Manzano. Anyone with information should contact the police.
Manzano was described as passionate about sports and excellent at his craft by Telemundo General Manager Steve Downing. Manzano’s wife died in a car crash last year, leaving behind a 2-year-old daughter who is now in the care of her family. The news of Manzano’s death came as a shock, with concerns raised when he was unreachable. The Kansas City community is devastated by the loss of such a talented and dedicated sports anchor. The investigation into Colbert’s involvement in this case continues, and Manzano’s colleagues and family are seeking justice for his untimely death.
