Strong pitching performances by Macie LaRue and Hallie Burns limited NDSU to just four hits.
After a scoreless tie, NDSU took a 1-0 lead in the sixth inning with the help of two SLU errors. However, Southeastern quickly turned the game around with Walsh’s triple and Schneider’s home run. Burns closed out the game with a strong final inning, securing the Lady Lions’ fourth consecutive victory.
