The Great British Bake Off is returning with a special celebrity edition in partnership with the charity Stand Up To Cancer. Hosted by Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, the show will feature four celebrities competing in traditional bake off rounds to be crowned Star Baker at the end of each episode. Joining long-time judge Paul Hollywood is former co-owner of Leith’s School of Food & Wine, Caroline Waldegrave OBE. The first episode, airing on March 16 on Channel 4, will feature husband and wife duo Chris and Rosie Ramsey and sibling pair Scarlette and Stuart Douglas, as they compete independently to create scones, a chocolatey treat, and a showstopper that reflects their career highlight in cake form. The celebrities, including Sarah Beeny, Adam Buxton, and Roman Kemp, will be raising money and awareness for the charity through their baking efforts. The special series will also include appearances from Ellie Goldstein, Gloria Hunniford OBE, Maxine Peake, and more. Tune in to Channel 4 on Sunday March 16 at 7:40pm to watch The Great Celebrity Bake for Stand Up To Cancer or catch up on Channel4.com.
