STEM Fest makes a comeback in Indy with plenty of science and technology excitement

STEM Fest returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for its sixth year, providing students from kindergarten through 12th grade with an opportunity to have fun while being exposed to science and technology. The event, organized by the Indiana Pacers and Eli Lilly, featured nearly 40 companies, colleges, and non-profits in the STEM field. Participants had the chance to engage in science experiments, interact with robotics, explore an actual plane, and try out virtual reality headsets.

The goal of STEM Fest is to educate and inspire youth to pursue careers in STEM fields. Participants were able to see firsthand how concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are applied in various industries. The event also provided an opportunity for students to learn about the ways in which the Pacers organization uses STEM both on and off the basketball court.

STEM Fest not only aims to provide a fun and engaging experience for students but also serves as a platform to introduce them to various STEM-related opportunities and careers. The event was well-received by participants and organizers alike, with a focus on making a positive impact on the Indianapolis community and inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. Attendees also received a ticket to an upcoming Pacers game, further enhancing their experience at the event.
