The Louisiana National Guard’s 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as the “Tiger Brigade,” will be honored at a special deployment ceremony on Sunday at the University of Louisiana Convention Center in Lafayette. Nearly 700 Guardsmen are set to deploy overseas in support of ongoing U.S. military operations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
