Today, April 11th is National Pet Day, a day to celebrate and appreciate our furry friends. WKRG is joining in on the celebration by showcasing some of their staff’s beloved pets. From Peter Albrecht’s pup Bobo, to Olivia Achille’s loyal companion Hitch, to Kathryn Bruch’s cat Arabella, to Devon Walsh’s photogenic dog Polly, the staff at WKRG are certainly animal lovers.

Baldwin County Reporter Debbie Williams rescued her two fur-babies Tucker and Otis from a puppy mill in Mississippi, while Morning Producer Randy Smith dotes on his big baby Bimini. Our newest Digital Producer, Theresa Grundman, is the proud owner of Mordecai, Athena, and Scout. Graphics Artist Tessa Scarbrough shares her home with Ms. Tiana Marie, while Morning Director Wade Poorman’s sweet pups Stella and LunaTrix bring joy to his home.

Producer Michael Hanich’s family is the proud owner of Boo, and Digital Reporter Summer Poole loves her sweet boy Cooper.
