WWNO/WRKF, in partnership with the Louisiana Illuminator, has launched a new weekly podcast titled “The Light Switch” focused on Louisiana politics. Hosted by Illuminator Editor-in-Chief Greg LaRose, each episode will feature newsmakers and reporters from various organizations discussing the latest developments in Louisiana politics. The podcast debuted on April 11th, with new episodes releasing every Friday.
The first episode of “The Light Switch” featured reporter Julie O’Donoghue previewing the upcoming legislative session and an interview with Louisiana Senate President Cameron Henry. The episode also delved into the emergence of measles cases beyond Texas.
Greg LaRose, the host of the podcast, brings over 30 years of journalism experience in Louisiana to the table. Prior to joining the Illuminator, he served as the chief investigative reporter for WDSU-TV in New Orleans and led the government and politics team at The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com.
