Southland Unveils Fall Conference Schedule for the Year 2025


The Southland Conference has released the 2025 women’s soccer conference schedule, generating excitement for the upcoming fall season. Southeastern University’s team finished the 2024 season with a 6-9-2 record, earning fifth consecutive appearance in the Southland Conference Soccer Tournament. Head coach Nathan Gillespie is preparing for another successful season as the Lady Lions begin conference play in late September.

The team will face UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas on September 21 before returning home to play against SFA on September 25 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on September 28. They will continue with a mix of home and away games throughout October, with matchups against Northwestern State, Lamar, Nicholls, UIW, and East Texas A&M.

The Lady Lions will close out the regular season with a game against McNeese on October 30. With 23 players returning from last season, including SLC Newcomer of the Year Kendall Curran, Southeastern is gearing up for a competitive season. The full schedule, along with match times, will be released at a later date.

Fans looking to support the women’s soccer program are encouraged to join the Score One More Club or S Club for Lion alums.
