The “Dash For Frasch” is set to kick off this weekend for Louisiana high school softball teams, with the postseason pairings announced by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. The pairings will begin with bi-district action on Friday, followed by regional action on April 23 and quarterfinals on April 26. The semifinals and championship games will take place on May 2-3 at the North Frasch Softball Complex in Sulphur.
Some of the top seeds include Sam Houston in Division I Non-Select, North DeSoto in Division II Non-Select, Kaplan in Division III Non-Select, and LaSalle in Division IV Non-Select. In the Select divisions, Pineville, Vandebilt Catholic, Calvary Baptist Academy, and Catholic-Pointe Coupee are among the top seeded teams.
The postseason brackets cover 10 different classes, ranging from Division I Non-Select to Class C. Teams will compete for the chance to claim a state championship title in their respective divisions.
