U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited Future Edge Academy in Las Vegas to spotlight the innovative AI-powered learning platform, Alpha 1 (A1) AI Tutor, developed by Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (PTAA). The event showcased the capabilities of the AI platform in providing personalized and interactive learning experiences for students. PTAA announced the launch of PTAA Nevada in August 2025, highlighting a curriculum focused on AI and STEAM education. The A1 AI Tutor will be rolled out across all PTAA campuses nationwide to provide on-demand help to students in various subjects. The long-term vision is to make the A1 Tutor available for free to all American students. Secretary McMahon and state officials praised the initiative as a significant step towards advancing education through technology. Congressman Byron Donalds and Erica Donald also attended and emphasized the importance of personalized learning to support students’ academic and emotional needs.
