LSU Secures Kansas State Transfer Seth Dardar for 2026 Season

As LSU’s baseball team aims for a College World Series spot this season, Coach Jay Johnson is already making moves for the future by securing a transfer commitment from Kansas State’s Seth Dardar. A native of Mandeville, Louisiana, Dardar announced his decision to play for LSU in a heartfelt message on social media, where he expressed gratitude to Kansas State for the unforgettable memories and friendships formed during his time there.

"I have decided to come home and live out my dream to play at Louisiana State University! Thank you to everyone who was a part of my journey," Dardar wrote, showcasing his excitement about joining the Tigers.

Dardar, who previously played for Columbia University, brings impressive stats to LSU. He started 50 games at Kansas State last season, posting a .326 batting average with 60 hits, including 18 doubles and 13 home runs, along with 45 RBIs. This marks Dardar’s second transfer after sitting out the 2024 season due to injury.

With this addition, LSU fans are already looking forward to an exciting 2026 season while the team focuses on their current postseason efforts.
