Southeastern Louisiana University Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule
HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) women’s soccer team unveiled its 2025 schedule, featuring a total of 18 matches, including 10 Southland Conference contests.
After finishing the 2024 season with a 6-9-2 overall record and a 5-4-1 mark in conference play, the Lady Lions are gearing up for an exciting new season. The team will kick off its campaign with two exhibition matches at Strawberry Stadium: against Pearl River Community College on August 4 and UL-Lafayette on August 9.
SLU will officially start the 2025 season on the road against Louisiana-Monroe on August 14, followed by a match at Troy on August 22. The home opener is scheduled for August 24 against Jackson State, after which the team will embark on a challenging three-match away trip to face South Alabama, Little Rock, and Grambling.
The Lady Lions will conclude their non-conference slate with home matches versus Southern on September 12 and Mississippi Valley on September 14. Conference action will commence on September 21 against UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas. SLU will then have two home games against Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi before continuing their conference tour.
Throughout October, the Lady Lions will engage in critical matchups, including matches against Nicholls, UIW, East Texas A&M, and HCU, with the regular season wrapping up on October 30 against McNeese.
The Southland Conference Soccer Tournament is scheduled for November 4-9 in Beaumont, Texas. Practice for the 2025 season begins on July 29.
