Michael Lavin Joins National 4-H Council’s Board of Trustees

At Germin8 Ventures, Lavin heads a venture capital firm dedicated to investing in transformative technologies that bolster resilience within agriculture. The firm’s portfolio includes groundbreaking ventures in agriculture, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence, critical to addressing food security and nutrition challenges.
In addition to his role at Germin8, Lavin is the Vice Chairman of OSI Group, a leading supplier of value-added food products globally. His impressive track record positions him as a vital asset to 4-H, where he currently serves on the Board’s Investment Subcommittee, driving strategic investment decisions to ensure mission-driven growth.
