Excitement Builds for the 2025 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Induction Celebration in Natchitoches
Natchitoches, LA – Mark your calendars for the ultimate summer celebration! The 2025 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame (LSHOF) Induction Celebration is set to take place from Thursday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28, promising three days filled with thrilling events and exciting festivities.
The highlight of the weekend, the official induction ceremony, will occur Saturday night, June 28, at the Natchitoches Events Center, with the event already at full capacity and a waiting list in place. The festivities kick off on Thursday with a welcoming reception at the LSHOF museum from 5-7 p.m., open to the public.
Friday’s lineup includes the Celebrity Bowling Bash and the free Rockin’ River Fest concert downtown from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Additionally, the VIP Taste of Tailgating party will offer a unique indoor-outdoor culinary experience, nearing capacity.
Saturday begins with a complimentary LSHOF Junior Training Camp at NSU, led by community figures from the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, as well as this year’s inductees. The day continues with a Round Table Luncheon featuring Fox Sports broadcaster Tim Brando, set for noon at Riverside Reserve.
The grand finale includes an Induction Reception at 5 p.m. at the LSHOF museum, leading into the highlight ceremony at 7 p.m. Notable inductees include LSU’s championship coach Nick Saban and multi-sport athletes such as Andrew Whitworth and Vickie Johnson.
