Louisiana Economic Development is launching a campaign called “Come Home Louisiana” during Sunday’s LSU season opener game on ABC, targeting Louisiana natives working in other states to return home and fill mid-level job positions at Louisiana companies. LED Secretary Susan Bourgeois announced the initiative at the Baton Rouge Press Club, emphasizing the economic opportunities available in Louisiana for those who left the state for work elsewhere. The campaign aims to appeal to individuals who miss the culture of Louisiana and want to return to their roots. The ads will be rolled out during the LSU game against USC in Las Vegas, with hopes of attracting a wave of returning native workers back to the state. The kickoff for LSU-USC is set for 6:30 p.m. on WBRZ, marking the launch of the “Come Home Louisiana” campaign to bring Louisiana talent back home.
