High school football teams across Louisiana battled it out in the second round of the Playoffs, with some exciting matchups and surprising results. In the Non-Select Division, Logansport defeated Franklin 35-6, while South Plaquemines beat Mangham 42-18. In Select Division IV, Ouachita Christian emerged victorious over Covenant Christian Academy with a score of 30-14.
In Division I, Central – B.R. triumphed over West Monroe 21-7, Neville defeated Chalmette 31-7, and Ruston secured a dominant win against Southside with a score of 49-7. In the Select Division, Alexandria came out on top against C.E. Byrd with a score of 43-32, while John Curtis Christian beat Teurlings Catholic 31-10.
